  2. How does GetMarketData work?

    GetMarketData works in just three simple steps.
    1. You choose a target panel. We offer 7 options: US Consumers, Online Shoppers, Social Networking Users, Online Music Consumers, Social Media Consumers, Online Video Consumers, and Online Travel Services Users.
    2. You add different survey questions, including single choice, multiple choice, and free response. Feel free to copy/paste from Word or another editor.
    3. After confirmation and payment, we immediately run the survey for you and notify you about its progress.
    Once the data is collected, you can download it in an Excel file and perform further analysis!

  3. How is GetMarketData different?

    GetMarketData has a unique solution that makes market research on a specific target population simple:

  4. How do you gather data? What kind of quality can I expect?

    We have built our panels by reaching out to various online communities. The quality of research and responses is comparable to that offered by a “traditional” market research company. We pay survey respondents and implement a number of checks to ensure data integrity and quality.

  5. How much does research cost?

    Surveying one of our seven panels costs $99. You can create surveys that have up to 25 questions and get responses from 50 people of the target panel of your choice.

    This is a flat and transparent rate. No hidden fees, extra costs, or annoying quotes.

  6. How quickly can I get results?

    We guarantee results in a work week (5 days) but since everybody likes early surprises, we try hard to get you responses even faster.

  7. Can I do market research in countries other than the US?

    We are currently only focused on the US market and our respondents are only US based. We hope to be able to expand our offering to other countries in the future.

  8. I am looking to survey a target population that you don’t current cover. When are you going to add panel X?

    We are always trying to find ways to recruit cost effectively respondents in new target panels. Please send us an e-mail at contact@getmarketdata.com and let us know what you need – we will do our best!

  9. Can I contact survey participants to follow-up (e.g. with an interview)?

    To keep the price of our service low, we do not store and cannot provide contact data for individual respondents. If you want to follow up with survey participants (e.g. to survey them again, to interview them, to organize a focus group, etc.) you can ask them for their contact information in your survey or submit two surveys. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that respondents will provide such information.
